How to survive Mercury Retrograde ?

We are currently experiencing another episode of Mercury Retrograde from October 31 to November 20, 2019 in water-sign Scorpio. Mercury retrograde—as it’s technically called—was being written about in astrology circles as far back as the mid 18th century, The event was noted in British agricultural almanacs of the time, which farmers would read to sync their planting schedules to the patterns of the stars.

This phenomenon takes place around three times a year. During these periods, Mercury appears to slow down and is said to move backwards through the zodiac. Organizing important events such as a wedding or even interviewing for a new job aren’t advised when Mercury enters retrograde. Said planet is said to have an influence on travel, communication and contracts.

While it’s in Scorpio, communication will feel like it’s being written in some kind of code, and yet being decoded for you at the same time; Scorpio is the detective of the zodiac and knows how to unearth information. You may find yourself and anyone close to you interested in exposing the truth. While finding hidden agendas can be handy, during this time we may all feel more paranoid than usual. Even the most chill people may spend extra time lurking around their lover’s Instagram, searching for signs of deception within the comments. While a little jealousy is normal, too much can ruin a relationship. Spend extra time meditating and engaging in other self-soothing activities to stay rooted in reality.

Here are some of the effects of Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio:
  • Priority to workplace and business – you will find yourself wanting to spend more time at work and on the business
  • Be careful what you say –  this is a period where you need to be careful of what you say and write
  • Dream ! – time to reflect and reconsider all your mid and long term projects !
  • Computer back up ! Make sure you save and archive everything !
  • Relax ! take a vacation !

Enjoy this Mercury Retro ! It does not have to be stressful !

What are YOU doing for yourself during this time ?
